Shandon Brown

Shandon Brown is a do it all point at Niagara University going into his junior year playing Division 1 basketball. Shandon is commonly referred to as one of the best on-ball defenders in Niagara’s conference, the MAAC, and in the country. His IQ and knowledge of the game are some of his biggest strengths on the court. 
The Boston native earned Second Team All- NEPSAC AAA honors after helping his high school, New Hampton, reach the 2018 NEPSAC AAA Finals. A nominee for the 2018 McDonald’s All-American Games, his senior year at New Hampton featured a career-high 17.7 points, 6 assists and 2.3 rebounds, highlighted by a 27 point performance in the first round and a 31-point performance effort in the NEPSAC AAA Semifinals vs prep powerhouse, Brewster Academy. 

Recognized in 2015 as the NEPSAC Class B Eastern Independent League player of the year, he averaged over 11 points and 7 assists per game in his sophomore season. Brown also played AAU for the BABC starting in 2014, helping the team to the 19u national championship in July 2017.
