Shandon Brown is a do it all point at Niagara University going into his junior year playing Division 1 basketball. Shandon is commonly referred to as one of the best on-ball defenders in Niagara’s conference, the MAAC, and in the country. The Boston native earned Second Team All- NEPSAC AAA honors after helping his high school, New Hampton, reach the 2018 NEPSAC AAA Finals. A nominee for the 2018 McDonald’s All-American Games, his senior year at New Hampton featured a career-high 17.7 points, 6 assists and 2.3 rebounds, highlighted by a 27 point performance in the first round and a 31-point performance effort in the NEPSAC AAA Semifinals vs prep powerhouse, Brewster Academy.
Recognized in 2015 as the NEPSAC Class B Eastern Independent League player of the year, he averaged over 11 points and 7 assists per game in his sophomore season. Brown also played AAU for the BABC starting in 2014, helping the team to the 19u national championship in July 2017.
